Pastoral Health

BTS 2014 Summer Course & Conference

course no. MAC 721 / 1 Credit, 9 CE's, or Pastoral Enrichment

The negative statistics on pastoral ministry are staggering, and the personal stories behind those statistics are even more sobering. The purpose of this course is to address the often neglected issue of pastoral health in order to enhance awareness of its importance, to encourage pastors and spouses in their pursuit of it, and to equip church leaders and counselors with the knowledge and resources necessary to cultivate it among the pastors they supervise and serve.

Take this Course to:

  • Understand the unique and difficult task of maintaining pastoral health, and the importance of pursuing it.
  • Be able to assess pastoral health and increase self-awareness of ministry risks.
  • Develop strategies and resources for counseling and/or self-care in a holistic approach to pastoral health.
