Susan Baker has taught at Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, City Seminary of New York, the Center for Urban Studies, and Westminster Theological Seminary where she combined teaching with administrative responsibilities for seventeen years before joining Biblical Seminary.
In addition to teaching, Susan is the ministry coordinator of Spirit and Truth Fellowship church and co-director of the CRC Philadelphia Church Planting Initiative being involved in the training of pastors and other leaders for seven church plants emerging from Spirit and Truth. She has also served as an administrator of a Christian elementary school in Chicago, Humboldt Community Christian School.
Susan became involved in urban ministry in Chicago while a student at Wheaton College. She moved into Chicago upon graduation and has lived in the urban centers of Chicago and Philadelphia for the past 45 years. She is married to Randy and they have four children and six grandchildren.
