Dan has been Biblical's library director since January 2001 and had a leading role in the renovation of Biblical's top floor, which houses the library, computer lab, IT offices, seminar room, and media center. Dan's experience prior to joining Biblical includes 16 years of counseling in various medical settings: one year of psych ER intake, five years as a social worker in trauma and emergency care at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, and 11 years as a brain injury therapist at MossRehab Hospital in Philadelphia. In addition to his involvement in caring and counseling ministries, Dan served on the leadership team for a local church plant, leads home Bible studies, and assists his wife, Beverly, teaching children's Sunday school. The LaVallas live in Upper Gwynedd and have two sons.
