Immediate Opening in Physical Plant
Biblical Seminary is seeking a custodian/maintenance worker to begin as soon as possible.
The applicant will have ability to do a variety of custodial tasks; and a demonstrated ability to work well independently and with others.
This person will also have a basic understanding of commercial cleaning practices, be able to work effectively under supervision; and possess a significant degree of initiative and flexibility. This is a part‐time position (20 hours per week) Monday – Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (hrs. negotiable).
Assistant Professor in Biblical Studies
Biblical Theological Seminary (BTS), located within the greater metropolitan area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, invites applications for the position of Clarke Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies, a three-year, full-time appointment with reduced course load and expectation of research and writing. This position is made possible by a generous gift from the Clarke family and will begin on July 1, 2016.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. or equivalent in hand by the time of employment, demonstrate a high level of scholarship in either Hebrew Bible/Old Testament or New Testament and attendant hermeneutical issues, possess a love for teaching and inspiring future leaders in the church, and resonate fully with BTS’s mission and convictions statements, as well as its community aspirations. It is also highly advantageous that candidates be conversant with the contemporary “missional conversation” arising from the work of Lesslie Newbigin, Darrell Guder, Christopher Wright and others. Women and minorities are especially urged to apply.
In addition to the reduced course load of five courses per year (within the area of specialization) and the expectation of publications, the Clarke Assistant Professor will be a full participant in faculty duties and take the lead, through publications, seminars, and conferences, in helping the BTS community and constituency think through the issue of gender roles in the church.

Access to Care Coordinator The Access to Care Coordinator is responsible for improving patient and community access to care. This position will provide oversight of the daily operations of the Esperanza Call Center, establish and achieve goals. for call response rates, train call center staff and monitor customer satisfaction, provide patient and staff support for web portal registration and use, and provide reports for call center and web portal operations. Clerical Assistants utilize insurance websites or directly contact insurance companies to verify eligibility and to confirm provider assignment. General duties will include leading and directing the delivery of revenue cycle management for the organization through management of direct reports in various functional areas including coding, preparing and submitting claims, payment posting, denial management, and AR follow up, as well as performing daily billing activities. Education, Skills, and Experience: Three to five years of medical billing expertise in a primary care environment are desired. College degree or relevant experience preferred.
